When the mind is at complete rest, we call that state as meditation or dhyana.
But it doesn’t comes naturally, what comes is, baffling.
Situations are like matchsticks and the spark it generates is called “first thought”.
And seldom it ends here. What follows is a thought process, complicated concatenation, and putting an end to it, defines your mental strength, your character.
This demeanour of human psyche comes from its fountainhead, which is always in search of something, a solution , a state or in some cases its simply “something”.
People who can control this chain process and know what their “something” is, are the ones who know what they want and mostly they achieve it. In simple terms, they are winners . They explore options, choose one which suits them and they go for it. Decision making, is what they play on.
But there are others as well. For them this chain reaction is unstoppable. And it is so because they focus on problem and not on its solution. Often this thought process leads them into a state of absolute desultory. At a subconscious level they might be knowing what the answer to their problem is, but then its toughest to follow the simplest. For them either, this or anything for that matter is of least importance, or, it becomes so important to win that the fear of failure makes them enter into this vicious circle, that their thought process itself becomes a circle.
Its time to take control.
